Job summary

UMass Boston seeks an Associate Director of Donor Engagement and Stewardship to design and implement a university-wide stewardship program that recognizes donors at all levels. You will lead acknowledgement and impact reporting, crafting personalized letters and stewardship pieces that convey philanthropy’s impact.

Working with University Advancement, you will ensure timely reporting of named funds and coordinate engagement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 3–5 years of advancement experience or higher education administration.
• Fluency in donor relations methodologies and CRM systems.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop donor communications and maintain records in the donor database.
• Create engagement for recognition societies and cohort communications.
• Convey impact of philanthropy through various channels.
• Support fund tracking with finance and academic units.
• Track scholarship awards and prepare donor reports.
• Review gift agreements and maintain documentation in CRM.
• Assist in planning donor events and materials.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
