Job summary
The Aerospace Corporation is seeking an Associate Director for Digital Transformation to lead strategic initiatives across modeling & simulation, data management, cloud, and AI capabilities for government and civil space programs. This full-time onsite role requires collaboration with senior stakeholders and multi‑program leadership.
You will champion modern engineering practices, establish governance, and guide cross-functional teams to deliver integrated digital solutions in a complex security
Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressively responsible software, systems, or digital transformation experience.
- 7+ years in leadership roles managing technical teams and programs.
- Ability to work in high-ambiguity environments with evolving requirements.
- Experience with digital transformation in mission-critical environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic digital transformation initiatives for Aerospace and government customers.
- Establish governance frameworks, standards, and program management for digital initiatives.
- Build and retain high-performing teams across multiple capability areas.
- Serve as a customer liaison with senior government stakeholders across defense and civil space.
- Drive adoption of modern digital capabilities and measure value delivery.
- Integrate across M&S software, data management, cloud, security, and mission ops.
- Champion modern engineering practices, CI/CD pipelines, and DevSecOps.
