Job summary

Merck is seeking an Associate Director, US Marketing Engagement - HIV Prep, to serve as a strategic analytics partner translating patient, prescriber, and market data into actionable insights for brand strategy and launch readiness.

You will lead cross-functional analyses, define KPIs, develop dashboards, and communicate conclusions to executives while aligning with global teams and performance goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in statistics, data science, epidemiology, health economics, business analytics, life sciences, engineering, or related quantitative field.
• 5+ years in pharma/biotech or healthcare-data analytics with commercial insights or marketing analytics responsibilities.
• Experience using secondary healthcare data to answer strategic marketing questions and influence decisions.
• Strong problem structuring, analytics interpretation, leadership, stakeholder management, and executive communication.

Responsibilities

• Define analytical priorities and an integrated insights plan aligned with brand objectives.
• Lead analyses of patient journeys, market maps, Prep dynamics, source-of-business, switching, adherence, and segmentation.
• Develop KPI frameworks, tracking plans, dashboards, and readouts linking execution to outcomes.
• Integrate patient, HCP, payer, geography, and performance data into a coherent fact base.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Market Research, Forecasting, Market Access, Data Strategy, Finance, and global teams.
• Translate findings into concise executive narratives and guide analytics partners.
