AT&T in Charlotte, USA seeks an Associate Director of Cybersecurity Compliance & Technical Risk to lead the enterprise compliance program across SOX, PCI, HIPAA, ISO, and SOC audits. You will guide the technical risk governance, optimize controls, and drive AI-enabled automation while coordinating with Finance, Technology, Security, and external auditors.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Engineering or related
• 5–8 years in cybersecurity, technical risk management, or audit management
• Experience leading teams and cross-functional programs
• Strong understanding of IT control frameworks & regulatory compliance
• Experience with external auditors, budgets, and timelines
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive change
• Excellent communication and executive presentation skills
• Experience applying AI in cybersecurity/compliance/risk management

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise compliance programs (SOX, PCI, HIPAA, ISO, SOC)
• Serve as liaison between control owners, auditors, and regulators
• Oversee audit planning, evidence collection, testing, remediation and execution
• Provide executive reporting on progress, risks and program performance
• Direct issue management and escalation for compliance concerns
• Lead governance initiatives to strengthen risk management
• Establish compliance tools and automation to improve operations
• Champion migration to ServiceNow GRC and related platforms
• Develop long-term roadmap aligned with Technical Risk objectives
• Drive AI governance, controls, and compliance requirements
