Job summary

Verizon is seeking a data-savvy professional for the Commercial Operations analytics role in Alpharetta. You will ensure accuracy and performance of transactions, partner across teams to optimize offerings and drive profitability.

You’ll lead complex analyses, evolve our portfolio, and incentivize sales for top performance. Ideal candidates will have a strong analytics background, 8+ years of experience, and expertise with MS/Google tools, data visualization, and AI-enabled analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher required or four+ years of work experience.
• Eight+ years of relevant experience in analytics, operations, or related field.
• Experience with Microsoft and/or Google productivity tools (PowerPoint, Slides, Excel, Sheets).
• Ability to define analytical frameworks, analyze complex data sets, and deliver actionable insights.
• Strong communication and storytelling skills for senior stakeholders.
• Experience leading end-to-end operations with high transactional value and cross-functional launches.

Responsibilities

• Maintain relationships with internal and external partners.
• Perform analyses to identify actionable insights on commercial performance.
• Lead system usage assessments and guide others through them.
• Ensure data quality and drive process improvement and automation.
• Translate customer insights into quantified business value to guide investments.
• Use data visualization to support executive-level storytelling and decisions.
• Promote adoption of AI-based solutions for prescriptive analytics.
