Job summary

UCB Inc. is seeking an Associate Director, Clinical Trial Devices to lead the DevICEs across the clinical lifecycle.

This role interfaces with clinical teams, device SMEs, and external partners to ensure clear ownership, alignment, and traceability of device-related activities within clinical drug development. The candidate will lead creation and maintenance of key deliverables (DSD, DSF, DARD) and represent device strategy at governance forums.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in biopharmaceuticals, life sciences, CRO, or clinical drug development.
• Experience interpreting regulatory and clinical frameworks across multiple device modalities (MDs, SaMD, IVDs, DHTs).

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end device process across the clinical lifecycle at candidate/asset and study levels.
• Define and drive device strategy and integration into clinical development, study design, and documentation.
• Serve as DSPOC and accountable person for all device activities and decisions.
• Lead governance, risk assessment, and cross-functional coordination for device-related activities.
