Job Family: Strategy & Transformation Consulting

Travel Required: Up to 75%+

What You Will Do:

This position involves delivering high-quality consulting services to clients in the Guidehouse Clinical Solutions Practice. Our focus is on transforming healthcare organizations through virtual, digital, and automated technologies, as well as advanced data analytics. Responsibilities include:

  1. Leading cross-continuum consulting engagements through transformational change for payer and provider organizations.
  2. Leveraging industry relationships for sales and engagement opportunities.
  3. Managing client relationships at the C-Suite level and providing operational delivery.
  4. Delivering industry expertise and management consulting services.
  5. Achieving return on investment and financial results through process and tactic implementation.
  6. Establishing account management relationships with key decision makers.
  7. Applying industry best practices in clinical care, care management, utilization management, throughput, and post-acute services.
  8. Creating client-ready deliverables.
  9. Mentoring team members to develop skills and knowledge.
  10. Providing visible leadership within the account and practice.
What You Will Need:
  • 7-10 years of relevant consulting or industry experience, including 3 years of client-facing consulting leading complex projects.
  • Recent healthcare provider or payer setting experience at the management level.
  • Ability to develop and lead complex operational change and clinical improvement programs.
  • Clinical licensure and a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university; a graduate degree is preferred.
  • Excellent financial and quantitative skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75%.
What Would Be Nice To Have:
  • Experience with inpatient throughput, utilization review, and denials management.
  • Payer care management, utilization management, and quality experience.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to develop and monitor performance metrics.
  • 5 years of project/program management leadership in large provider systems.
  • Knowledge of industry IT and tech-enabled solutions.
  • Ability to adapt and lead in changing business conditions.

The annual salary range is $135,000 - $225,000, depending on various factors.
