You will partner across project delivery, business development, and operations to build team capability, support client success, and position Ulteig for continued growth. Ulteig is employee-owned, flexible in how we work, and focused on solving infrastructure challenges that matter.

  • Provide direction and oversight for subconsultants to support project delivery, quality, schedule, and client expectations.
  • Oversee renewable civil and/or structural project scope, including contract requirements, change orders, schedule commitments, and technical delivery expectations.
  • Direct and coordinate multidisciplinary project activities on significant projects or a combination of large projects.
  • Maintain high standards of quality in alignment with internal expectations and client requirements.

Management Responsibilities - 50%

  • Build and sustain a positive, accountable team culture where managers and team members can do strong work, grow, and collaborate across disciplines and offices.
  • Provide strategic direction, leadership, and technical services oversight to help employees achieve individual, team, department, and organizational performance goals.
  • Lead leaders by coaching, mentoring, and developing management staff through regular leadership conversations, career development, talent reviews, succession planning, quarterly reviews, promotion planning, retention efforts, and engagement survey follow-up.
  • Oversee team budgets with clear financial stewardship, including revenue, profitability, indirect expenses, training, recognition, and team event costs.
  • Evaluate capacity, skill sets, performance, and development needs to guide workforce planning, support cross-team collaboration, and help team members grow through clear feedback, training and professional development.
  • Support department growth by partnering with HR and hiring teams to evaluate candidates, participate in interviews, lead debrief discussions, and help select strong talent for current and future team needs.
  • Lead departmental continuous improvement and strategic initiatives that improve efficiency, strengthen delivery, support innovation, and position the team for long-term success.

Business Development Responsibilities - 40%

  • Partner with Business Development and leaders across the organization to support territory sales plan execution, expand services with existing and prospective clients, promote revenue growth, and maintain disciplined cost awareness.
  • Help shape proposal strategy and contracting efforts by coordinating resources, reviewing proposals, and partnering with the Proposal Development Team and Project Management group on contracts, work orders, MSAs, and NDAs.
  • Build and sustain trusted client relationships that support strong delivery, repeat work, and long-term growth in the Renewables market.
  • Represent the Renewables Civil Department in client and market conversations where technical leadership, delivery confidence, and team capability are important to winning and growing work.
