The Associate Director, Channel Development defines the sales product strategy for multiple lines of business, targeting specific markets and/or segments. This role requires a solid understanding of organizational capabilities across departments.

The role involves developing and executing growth strategies for CenterWell’s MSO (Management Services Organization)/IPA network, leading a team to engage independent primary care practices, and achieving recruitment and membership growth targets. The candidate should have experience in team leadership, provider engagement, closing deals, exceeding goals, and understanding value-based agreements and provider contracting.

The Associate Director will be the subject matter expert on CenterWell’s MSO/IPA product portfolio, supporting strategic deployment and provider partnerships to meet membership and revenue goals. Responsibilities include strategy development, sales support, provider negotiations, and providing executive updates. Building relationships with corporate leadership, partners, and market teams is essential. The candidate should be an expert on MSO relationships and capable of delivering leadership updates on progress and opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop knowledge of CenterWell’s MSO/IPA offerings and growth strategies.
  • Understand local market landscape and relationships impacting product portfolio.
  • Use data to drive channel growth and meet targets.
  • Identify trends to enhance product offerings.
  • Support negotiations and advance provider agreements.
  • Provide leadership with reporting and insights for alignment.
  • Collaborate across teams on program design, contracting, and capital deployment.
  • Focus on creating provider partnerships focused on value-based care and patient outcomes.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
  • At least 8 years in health solutions, with experience in provider engagement/contracting.
  • Success in leading teams and creating a positive culture.
  • Extensive knowledge of value-based care.
  • Experience in negotiations and provider relationship cultivation.
  • Deep understanding of regional provider landscape.
  • Ability to build partnerships with health plans and community organizations.
  • Results-oriented with strong communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Passion for contributing to organizational growth.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree preferred.
Additional Information
  • Remote role, based in Texas.
  • Travel up to 50% across Texas.
  • Must carry insurance meeting state minimums.
Work at Home Requirements
  • Internet speed of at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload.
  • Work from a dedicated, interruption-free space.

Occasional travel to Humana offices may be required. Scheduled weekly hours: 40. Pay range: $138,900 - $191,000/year, with potential bonuses. Humana offers comprehensive benefits focused on well-being and growth.
