Job summary

Cornell College invites applications for an Associate Director, Berry Career Institute. The Associate Director directly serves students and plays an important role in day-to-day operations of the Berry Career Institute, connecting the student experience to graduate outcomes, alumni engagement, and the College’s mission.

You will coach students and alumni, design and promote programs, develop internship opportunities, manage career data systems, and collaborate across campus to advance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Master’s degree or other training related to higher education administration, student development, counseling, or another area relevant to student engagement is preferred.
• Previous experience with career development and work in a college setting is preferred.
• Must possess a valid Iowa driver’s license and be insurable to drive.

Responsibilities

• Career coaching for students and alumni in individual and group settings; connect them to resources and opportunities.
• Designs, facilitates, and promotes programs to increase career-readiness and professional development.
• Develops internship opportunities and experiential learning with employer partners.
• Maintain and analyze career data systems to track engagement and outcomes.
• Collaborate across campus with faculty and staff to advance career-readiness and experiential learning.
• Other duties as assigned.
