Job summary

RISD in Providence, RI seeks an Associate Director of the Career Center to lead employer partnerships, expand internship and job opportunities for students and alumni, and strengthen career readiness across the college.

Responsibilities include designing innovative career readiness programming, coordinating events such as Internship Connect, Design Portfolio Review, and Fine Arts Portfolio Review, and advising students individually and in groups while collaborating with faculty and campus

Qualifications

• Design and deliver innovative career readiness programming.
• Partner with faculty and academic departments to create discipline-specific career development programming.
• Support students in developing professional competencies and industry knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic employer engagement initiatives to build partnerships with employers, organizations, and industry leaders.
• Lead and oversee major Career Center recruiting and engagement events (Internship Connect, Design Portfolio Review, Fine Arts Portfolio Review).
• Provide individual and group career advisement to RISD students and alumni.
