Job summary

Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw, GA, seeks an Associate Director of Transportation and Mobility to provide executive leadership over campus transportation programs, mobility services, and infrastructure across all campuses.

Lead strategic planning, implement integrated transportation solutions, and foster collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensureExcellent service delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Seven (7) years of progressive experience in transportation demand management, transportation planning, program management, transportation operations management, or related fields.
• Experience in transportation demand management, planning, or operations.
• Advanced degree preferred.
• Professional certification relevant to transportation (e.g., TDM-Cp, PTMP, AICP, or PTP) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for transportation programs and mobility services.
• Oversee performance, service quality, risk management of contracted providers.
• Manage department budget exceeding $6 million and lead five-year business planning.
• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and regulations.
• Develop data-driven recommendations for transit routes, schedules, and improvements.
• Collaborate with local government agencies and community partners.
• Present transportation topics to university committees and external engagements.
• Promote sustainable transportation options and awareness initiatives.
