Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with five or more years in government relations.
• At least five years of lobbying elected officials and agencies.
• Experience with California legislative or budget policies.
• Experience with workforce development programs or coalitions.
• Ability to develop and execute advocacy strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead Calbright's state advocacy strategy and priorities.
• Monitor and report on state legislative and regulatory proposals.
• Draft legislation proposals and amendments.
• Coordinate media and communications efforts with marketing team.
• Maintain legislative tracking and stakeholder map.
