Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking an Associate Director of Biostatistics to contribute to trial design, analysis planning, and regulatory submissions. The role focuses on collaboration with cross-functional teams, leading statistical analyses, and ensuring high-quality deliverables across studies.

The candidate will work with a strong biostatistics team, apply advanced methods, and support health authority interactions while advancing a pipeline across oncology, immunology, and cardiovascular

Qualifications

• PhD (6+ years’ experience) or MS (8+ years’ experience) in statistics/biostatistics with clinical trials/drug development experience.
• Proficiency in SAS, R, or Python for advanced analyses and data manipulation.
• Strong communication, writing, and organizational skills.
• Regulatory knowledge and experience with regulatory interactions.

Responsibilities

• Design innovative and efficient clinical trials including population/endpoints.
• Defend protocols and analysis plans in governance reviews.
• Author or review statistical sections and SAS/analysis plans.
• Present data and analyses clearly to stakeholders.
• Provide statistical leadership for authority requests and publications.
• Manage multiple studies within a therapeutic area.
