Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb in Madison, NJ is seeking an Associate Director of Biostatistics to lead trial design, analysis planning, and regulatory submissions within cross-functional development teams.

You will mentor staff, defend protocols, collaborate with stakeholders, ensure quality deliverables, and contribute to external statistical community while advancing therapies across oncology, hematology, and cardiovascular programs.

Qualifications

• PhD (6+ years) or MS (8+ years) in statistics/biostatistics with clinical trials/pharma experience.
• Proficiency in SAS, R or Python and implementation of advanced statistical analysis.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, writing and organizational skills.
• Expertise in statistical/clinical trials methodology and regulatory interactions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates in design of innovative and efficient clinical trials and contributes to project development strategy.
• Defends protocols and analysis plans at internal governance reviews and provides independent reviews of complex protocols.
• Independently authors and/or reviews protocol, SAP, CSRs and other study documents.
• Presents data and analyses clearly and transparently to stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
• Provides statistical leadership to address health authority requests and public disclosures.
• Manages multiple studies to ensure consistency and adherence to standards within an indication or therapeutic area.
