Allergan Aesthetics, an AbbVie company, is seeking an Associate Director of AMI Curricula to lead the development of curricula for large group programs, both in-field and in Training Centers. You will collaborate with AMI Programs, Customer Marketing, Training Centers, and design teams to align content with brand strategy and adult learning principles.

The role requires 10+ years in curricula development, team leadership, and strong communication skills, with travel up to 40%.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required.
  • Minimum of 10 years related experience is preferred.
  • Experience in curricula development
  • Experience on product/indication launches
  • Experience managing a team
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
  • Knowledge of FDA and regulatory statutes as applied to Allergan Aesthetics products, with the ability to function in an environment controlled by outside regulatory entities.
  • Knowledge of procedure training, consultation, business-to business (B2B) and selling skills are desired.
  • High degree of flexibility in adapting to a rapidly changing environment.
  • Occasional flexibility in work hours, including weekends, may be required.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead development of AMI curricula across large group programming in Training Centers and in-field.
  • Provide strategic oversight of AMI content and tactics for large group programs.
  • Coordinate new initiatives with Commercial Directors and Field Resources.
  • Manage agency partners and content designers to align with brand and MLRC guidelines.
  • Oversee workshop and agenda development and capture KOL feedback.
  • Translate strategic initiatives into plans and go-to-market tactics for AMI programs.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams and third parties for execution of AMI initiatives.
  • Train HCP partners to ensure successful training programs.

Job Description

The Associate Director of AMI Curricula is responsible for the development of curricula across Allergan Medical Institute educational programs, primarily new large group programs in-field and in the Training Centers. Main responsibilities include collaboration with key stakeholders (AMI Programs team, Customer Marketing teams, Training Centers team, Design & Internal review team, etc) to develop content to achieve our educational objectives across the HCP learning journey.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned.)
  • Lead the development of AMI curricula across all large group programming in the AMI Training Centers and in-field programming
  • Strategic oversight of AMI content and tactics as it relates to large group programs, including:
    • Net new program creation based on Learning Journey, business needs, market demand
    • Go to market strategy for new programs through Field and digital channels
    • Strategy for Faculty speaker training and selection, ongoing Faculty training post-launch
    • Oversight of development of all training materials, videos, slide decks, etc, aligning to brand strategy, KOL review, and adult learning principles
  • Curricula Lead for all internal Sales communications, including:
    • Liaison between Curricula and Faculty Development team
    • Coordination of any new initiatives with Commercial Directors
    • Development of Field Resources (sales aids, targeting tools, etc)
  • Management of agency partners and content designers to ensure content adheres to creative and curricula briefs, brand guidelines, and MLRC review guidelines
  • Management of 'Large Group/Training Center AMI pillar' team members
  • Oversight of all workshop and agenda development
  • Responsible for capturing KOL advisor feedback across all programs
  • Translating key strategic initiatives into plans and go-to-market tactics for new AMI engagement programs
  • Coordinating cross-functional internal resources and third parties/vendors for the execution of AMI Engagement initiatives
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with KOLs, thought leaders, and other key stakeholders
  • Coordinating with, and training HCP partners to ensure the execution of successful training programs
  • Perform other duties as assigned
