As an Associate Director of Alumni Career Engagement, you will work with our team and will oversee a portfolio of campus partner programs that connect academic departments campus-wide with students to support their career development. Salary & Compensation

*UCLA provides a full pay range. Actual salary offers consider factors, including budget, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations. Salary offers at the top of the range are not common. Qualifications
  • Three years demonstrated experience working with students (preferably in a higher education setting) career development or corporate recruitment with college and career candidates to include the ability to effectively communicate with and coordinate student participants and volunteers. (Required)
  • Prior experience working with a technologically forward environment, creating content-driven programming, and engaging volunteers and valued constituents. (Required)
  • Demonstrated experience/proficiency with Adobe Acrobat, Google Suite, Canva, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; willingness and ability to learn new software quickly and independently navigate workflows. (Required)
  • Experience in and/or ability to independently develop, launch and manage programs, projects and initiatives. (Required)
  • Experience in and/or ability to work with recruiters as well as orient, train, organize and motivate staff and volunteers. (Required)
  • Experience working in an educational and/or nonprofit, client service-oriented environment is highly desirable. (Preferred)
  • Demonstrated skill in and/or ability to build career development curricula, teach, coach and provide consultative services. (Required)
  • Ability to consistently deliver an exemplary standard of customer service within a diverse, dynamic and highly constituent driven environment. (Required)
  • Strong time/project management skills and ability to set priorities and goals, develop operation plans, analyze problems, determine solutions, meet deadlines and manage process from inception to completion with minimal supervision. (Required)
  • Highly collaborative with demonstrated well-developed interpersonal and diplomatic communication skills to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships. (Required)
  • Ability to use good judgment in situations requiring independent initiative and tact; ability to handle confidential matters in a discreet and tactful manner. (Required)
  • Strong writing and verbal communications skills to convey a wide variety of information to individuals and groups including complex material; ability to create and present presentations and deliver public addresses to small and large groups. (Required)
  • Demonstrated skill in working equally well independently and as part of a large team; ability to follow through on all assignments with minimal direction and to identify opportunities for process/program improvements. (Required)
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical abilities to define problems and meet objectives, identify relevant factors and concerns, recognize alternatives and their implications and address challenges quickly and effectively. (Required)
  • Adept in managing, manipulating, converting and disseminating large data sets seamlessly to internal and external constituents. (Required)
  • Creative and resourceful with the ability to work effectively in a large, complex and dynamic organization. (Required)
  • Detail-oriented, goal-oriented, well organized and focused with a high level of initiative and energy. (Required)
  • Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence software in its application related to career development. (Preferred)
