Job summary

IEEE is seeking an Associate Director, AI & Intelligence within the Brand, Marketing, & Communications (BMC) team in Piscataway, NJ. You will shape and monitor how AI systems describe IEEE, lead AEO/GEO initiatives, and partner with IT, Legal and Compliance to ensure responsible AI usage and accurate public framing.

The role requires 7–10+ years of leadership in AI/digital strategy, a Bachelor's degree, and the ability to manage a small team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 7–10+ years of progressive experience leading SEO/AI initiatives within a complex global organization preferred.
• Experience in digital strategy, marketing technology, or data intelligence functions.

Responsibilities

• Define, publish and govern the enterprise AEO/GEO strategy across IEEE properties.
• Lead governance of structured records and ensure accurate parent–child links between IEEE and its OUs.
• Partner with IT, Legal and Compliance to align AI governance and policy.
• Monitor AI performance and provide executive reporting on framing accuracy and citations.
• Lead cross‑functional workstreams and manage potential reports as the team grows.
