Job summary

The University of Florida is hiring an Associate Director, Academic Support Services to advise Heavener School of Business undergraduates on study abroad and international programs.

The role serves as primary contact for two to three Heavener Sponsored Business programs, working with international partners, the UF International Center, and course instructors so students can study abroad while staying on track for their degrees.

Qualifications

• Hold a master's degree and four years of relevant experience, or a bachelor's degree and six years.

Responsibilities

• Advise undergraduates on academic and study abroad options tied to Heavener Sponsored Business and other international programs.
• Guide students through study abroad applications, including visa questions and visa seminars.
• Serve as the primary contact for two to three Heavener Sponsored Business programs.
• Run pre-departure orientations for the sponsored programs three times per year.
• Promote study abroad through info sessions, fairs, social media, and program materials.
• Coordinate exam scheduling, academic calendars, and UF course registration for program participants.
• Supervise an Academic Program Specialist I on work tied to the sponsored programs.

Education

Master's degree + 4 yrs experience

Bachelor's degree + 6 yrs experience
