Job summary

SBH Fashion is seeking an Apparel Designer in New York. You will sketch, develop tech packs, and maintain line sheets while coordinating with overseas factories to ensure timely development.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in Fashion Design (or equivalent) and 1+ years of apparel design experience, plus proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop CS, Excel, and Office Suite. Strong communication and multitasking abilities are essential for this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years of experience in apparel design.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop CS, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of garment construction, fabric, and trim sourcing.

Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain design development including artwork, trims, fabric worksheets, finalized tech packs, and line lists.

• Manage and adhere to the Time and Action Calendar to meet seasonal deadlines.
• Support seasonal development by preparing presentation materials and assisting in design reviews.
• Assist in sourcing and organizing seasonal inspiration, fabric, and trim libraries.
