Job summary

Omega Point Partners in New York, NY is seeking an apparel designer to support seasonal collections for the Big Girls Walmart licensed business. The role focuses on creating colorways, presentations, and artwork using Illustrator and Photoshop, aligning with brand guidelines and retailer needs.

Collaborate with design and product teams, review samples, organize files, and manage multiple projects to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of apparel design experience, preferably in children's or retail apparel.
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Strong understanding of fashion trends, color, graphics, and apparel construction
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Licensed apparel experience is a plus
• Must be located in NYC
• Position is primarily onsite with some flexibility to work from home on Fridays

Responsibilities

• Support the design and development of seasonal apparel collections for the Big Girls Walmart licensed business
• Research current fashion, color, graphic, and market trends relevant to the target customer
• Create and update apparel designs, colorways, and presentations using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Collaborate with Senior Designers, Graphic Designers, Merchandising, and Product Development teams
• Help develop design concepts that align with brand guidelines, retailer needs, and seasonal trends
• Review samples and provide design feedback throughout the development process
• Organize and maintain design files, artwork, and seasonal project information
• Assist with approvals and revisions to ensure designs meet brand and customer expectations
