Job summary

Job Juncture is seeking an apparel designer to support seasonal collections for a Big Girls Walmart licensed business. The role involves researching trends, creating colorways, and preparing presentations using Illustrator and Photoshop.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of apparel design experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and is located in NYC. The position is primarily onsite with some flexibility for remote work on Fridays.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of apparel design experience
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Strong understanding of fashion trends, color, graphics, and apparel construction
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Licenced apparel experience is a plus
• Must be located in NYC
• Onsite with some flexibility to work from home on Fridays

Responsibilities

• Support the design and development of seasonal apparel collections for the Big Girls Walmart licensed business
• Research current fashion, color, graphic, and market trends relevant to the target customer
• Create and update apparel designs, colorways, and presentations using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Collaborate with Senior Designers, Graphic Designers, Merchandising, and Product Development teams
• Help develop design concepts that align with brand guidelines, retailer needs, and seasonal trends
• Review samples and provide design feedback throughout the development process
• Organize and maintain design files, artwork, and seasonal project information
• Assist with approvals and revisions to ensure designs meet brand and customer expectations
