Job summary

Boll & Branch seeks an Associate Designer to drive textile design across bedding, bath, and rug categories from concept through factory-ready specs. You will work closely with the Senior Designer and Product creation leadership to ensure brand-driven outcomes.

The role emphasizes hand drawing and digital artwork, color development, and collaboration with cross-functional partners. Based in Summit, NJ with in-person work three days weekly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Textile Design, Product Design, or related field.
• 2+ years of textile design experience in home furnishings or fashion/apparel.
• Strong hand drawing and digital artwork skills with proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, comfortable with AI for renderings.

Responsibilities

• Create and update design specs and factory-ready artwork for products.
• Execute designs for wovens, embroideries, prints, and knits following brand direction.
• Collaborate with design leadership to bring creative concepts to life.
• Develop colorway options using Pantone and Archroma libraries.
• Revise artwork based on factory feedback and sampling results.
• Communicate spec details to Product Development and factory partners.
• Support product renderings and bed looks using Adobe Creative Suite and generative AI tools.
• Track products against development calendar and flag risks.
• Collaborate across departments during prototype reviews to refine designs.
• Research trends to inform assignments and brand aesthetics.
• Attend domestic design inspiration opportunities as needed.
