About the Role

As an Old Navy Associate Graphic Designer, you will support the Graphics team in creating seasonally relevant, fun, and original art. Your responsibilities include research, art creation, production work, building presentations, and being adaptable to various tasks. This role focuses on actual design and production of graphics.

What You'll Do

  1. Research seasonal graphic trends and assist the Art Director with analysis through online and in-store research, gathering inspiration beyond apparel that aligns with aesthetic trends.
  2. Help create seasonal trend boards as needed.
  3. Design on-trend apparel graphics supporting seasonal messages and aligning with divisional concepts.
  4. Identify opportunities for innovation by utilizing graphic trend forecasts and applying relevant techniques.
  5. Assist specialized category leads and present design ideas to cross-functional partners during reviews.
  6. Ensure graphic and production reviews are documented and action items are addressed.
  7. Maintain graphic artwork files according to seasonal milestones.
  8. Support Senior Graphic Designers in ensuring graphics meet style and fabrication standards.
  9. Review production samples with Senior Designers for quality and accuracy, providing feedback via Clo-set.
  10. Use SharePoint to deliver and update graphic files, communicating with partners.
  11. Assist in identifying design tracks and maintaining seasonal color palettes.
  12. Support day-to-day graphics processes from concept to production, providing development information for legal reviews and post-deadline images.

Who You Are

  1. Capable of working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, managing multiple seasons and deadlines.
  2. Have a strong sense of style, aesthetic, and color, with the ability to translate trends for the customer and brand.
  3. Possess knowledge of silhouette, fit, fabrication, construction, color, sewing techniques, and trims, with applied garment construction knowledge.
  4. Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft Excel.
  5. Can analyze problems and suggest creative, logical solutions.
