Job summary

Hitachi Global Air Power is seeking an Associate Designer to develop 3D CAD models and assemblies for air compressor systems. You will collaborate with engineers and staff to document parts, bill of materials, and drawings, while ensuring design intent and ASME/ drafting standards are followed.

The role requires NX 12 proficiency, PLM experience, and the ability to work across cross-functional teams to meet project milestones and quality targets.

Qualifications

• Strong 3D parametric modeling skills in mechanical design, routing, castings and machining.
• Experience using PLM tools (ECTR or similar).
• Ability to create complex assemblies using constraints.

Responsibilities

• Create 3D CAD models of complex compressor sub-systems.
• Model vendor parts as needed.
• Support multiple engineers and projects simultaneously.
