Job summary

DJEH is seeking an Associate Design Director to lead the Experiential Design team in creating impactful live-event experiences. You will oversee ideation and execution of spatial design across 2D and 3D elements, from concept to final build drawings, while staying attuned to trends, technology, and culture.

You will lead an integrated design team and collaborate with graphic, spatial, art, and production professionals to deliver compelling brand experiences for diverse clients.

Qualifications

• 7-9 years experience in experiential, exhibition design or spatial design.
• Portfolio of spatial design work with hands-on background developing brand experiences, from conception to execution.
• Degree or robust experience in Architecture, Interior Design, Environmental/Exhibition Design, Graphic Design or related field.
• Strong graphic design lens and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead the creative development and execution of spatial and 3D design elements on mid-to-large scale projects.
• Collaborate across design domains including user journeys, moodboards, sketches, accurate 3D models and polished renders.
• Direct experiential elements like physical environments, interactive installations, and digital components.
• Present design deliverables to clients and teams, incorporating feedback into revisions.
• Coordinate with production for fabrication and material selections.
