Job summary

42North Dental in Hollidaysburg, PA is seeking a full-time Associate Dentist to lead the patient experience from exam through delivery of care, with in-office services spanning periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery and orthodontics.

Candidates must have a DDS/DMD from CODA-accredited program, a current state license, Hepatitis B vaccination, malpractice insurance, and BLS/CPR certification; sign-on bonus up to $20,000 is offered, with annual earnings potential between $150,000 and $250,000 and

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree from CODA-accredited program
• Current state license to practice dentistry
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination
• Proof of malpractice insurance
• Current BLS or CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues
• Maintain highest quality standard of care for all patients
• Maintain highest standard of ethics and professionalism
• Keep abreast of new developments through continuing education
