Job summary

42North Dental is seeking a full-time Associate Dentist in Pennsylvania to deliver comprehensive dental care from examinations and treatment planning to execution. The role encompasses in-office specialty support, including periodontal, endodontic, surgical and orthodontic services, with a strong focus on patient education and prevention.

Qualified candidates hold a DDS/DMD from an ADA CODA-accredited program, a valid state license, Hepatitis B vaccination, malpractice insurance, and BLS/CPR

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain high standard of ethics and professionalism.
• Keep current on new developments and continuing education.
