Job summary

42 North Dental in the United States is seeking a full-time Associate Dentist to oversee the entire patient experience from initial exam and treatment plan to delivery of care. In-office services include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

The role offers a competitive compensation range of $150,000 to $250,000 USD per year plus a sign-on bonus of up to $20,000, comprehensive benefits, malpractice reimbursement, a 401(k) plan, continuing education, mentorship, equity

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain ethics and professionalism.
• Keep abreast of new developments through continuing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree

Current state license to practice dentistry

Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
