Job summary

42North Dental is seeking an Associate Dentist to deliver comprehensive care from initial exam to treatment. In-office services include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

You will join a practice committed to excellence in patient care in Hollidaysburg, PA. Qualifications include a DDS/DMD from CODA-accredited program and active state license, with HBV vaccination, malpractice insurance, and BLS/CPR certification.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from a university-based dental education program accredited by the ADA CODA.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and maintain patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain high standard of ethics and professionalism.
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education.
