42 North Dental, a Boston-area practice built by dentists for dentists, seeks a licensed Dentist to lead the clinical patient experience from exam and treatment planning to delivery of care.

The role includes in-office specialties such as periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery and orthodontics, with a strong patient flow and ongoing education opportunities in a collaborative network of doctors.

Qualifications

• Must have a DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Proof of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health
• Review treatment options with patients
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures in the oral cavity
• Uphold high standards of care and ethics
• Stay updated with new developments and continuing education
