Job summary

42 North Dental, founded by dentists for dentists in Boston, seeks a licensed Dentist to lead the full clinical patient experience from exams to care delivery. In-office services include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics, with a strong emphasis on education and patient communication.

The Dentist will manage treatment plans, maintain records, and uphold the highest standards of care and ethics while staying current with new developments and technologies.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care and ethics.
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education.
