Job summary
42 North Dental in Pennsylvania is seeking a part-time dentist to join our established practice with a strong incoming patient flow and opportunities for ongoing education. The Dentist will oversee the entire clinical patient experience, from exam to care delivery, with in-office specialties including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.
The role supports a schedule with two Saturdays per month and allows participation in continuing education through Harvard Rounds Network
Qualifications
- DMD or DDS degree from a CODA-accredited program.
- Current state license to practice dentistry.
- Hepatitis B vaccination documented.
- Proof of malpractice insurance.
- Current BLS or CPR certification.
Responsibilities
- Promote oral health and disease prevention.
- Diagnose oral diseases.
- Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
- Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
- Review treatment options with patients and update medical/dental records.
- Interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
- Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
- Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
- Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
