Job summary

42 North Dental in Pen Argyl, PA is seeking a Dentist to join our established practice. You will manage the entire patient experience from exam and treatment planning to delivering care, with in-office services including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery and orthodontics.

The position offers a part-time schedule (two Saturdays per month, 7am–12pm, Labor Day through Memorial Day) and benefits such as health insurance with HSA, dental and vision coverage, 401K, CE opportunities, and

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Vaccination against Hepatitis B.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient's oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures on the teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients
• Keep abreast of new developments, technologies, best practices and standard of care through continuing education and professional development

Education

DMD or DDS degree

Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination
