Job summary

42 North Dental, built by dentists for dentists, is recruiting a full-time Dentist to oversee the full patient journey from initial exam to treatment delivery. The practice offers in-house specialty services including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics, with a strong patient flow.

Ideal candidates hold a DMD or DDS, current state license, and BLS/CPR certification, with Hepatitis B vaccination documented and malpractice insurance.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from a university-based dental education program accredited by the ADA CODA.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient health.
• Review treatment plans with patients.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high quality standards of care and ethics.
• Keep up with new developments and continuing education.
