Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a Dentist to lead comprehensive dental care from exam and treatment planning to delivery of care. In-office services include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

Applicants should hold a DMD/DDS, have a valid state license, and provide evidence of Hepatitis B vaccination and malpractice insurance. Competitive salary range reflects the full scope of patient care and continuing education opportunities.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain ethics and professionalism in all interactions.

Education
