Job summary
42North Dental is seeking a Dentist to manage the full clinical patient experience from exam to delivery of care, including in-office specialties such as periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics. The position offers comprehensive benefits and a supportive network of doctors.
Qualified candidates hold a DMD/DDS with an active state license, Hepatitis B vaccination, malpractice insurance, and BLS/CPR certification.
Qualifications
- DMD or DDS degree from CODA-accredited program.
- Current state license to practice dentistry.
- Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
- Proof of malpractice insurance.
- Current BLS or CPR certification.
Responsibilities
- Promote oral health and disease prevention
- Diagnose oral diseases
- Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
- Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health
- Review treatment plan options with patients
- Review and update patients' medical and dental records
- Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
- Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws
- Provide restorative and preventive dental care
- Perform dental surgical procedures
- Maintain high quality standard of care
- Maintain ethics and professionalism
- Keep abreast of new developments through continuing education
