Job summary

42North Dental in Detroit, MI seeks a dentist to promote oral health, diagnose diseases, and educate patients on treatment options. You will create and review comprehensive treatment plans and maintain detailed patient records in a collaborative practice.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret X-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain highest quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain highest standard of ethics and professionalism.
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education.

Education
