Job summary

42North Dental in Hawleyville, CT, seeks a Dentist to lead the complete clinical patient experience from exam and treatment planning to delivery of care, with in-office specialties including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery and orthodontics.

Qualifications

• Must hold a DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases and discuss treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans with patients.
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and tests.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth and supporting structures.
• Uphold high standards of care, ethics and professionalism.
