Job summary

42North Dental in Sherman, CT, seeks a Dentist to lead the complete clinical patient experience from initial exam and treatment plan to delivery of care. In-office services include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

The annual rate ranges from $75,000 to $250,000 USD with comprehensive benefits, 401K, and ongoing CE opportunities. Excellent mentorship and equity options are available within a growing, doctor-led practice.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues
• Maintain high quality standard of care for all patients
• Maintain high standard of ethics and professionalism
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education
