42North Dental is seeking a full-time Associate Dentist to deliver comprehensive dental care from initial exam through treatment. In-office specialties include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics. Competitive benefits and a $20,000 sign-on bonus are offered.

You will promote oral health, diagnose diseases, educate patients, and create treatment plans while maintaining records and staying current with best practices.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from a university-based dental education program accredited by the ADA CODA.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain high quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain high standard of ethics and professionalism.
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree
