Job summary

42North Dental is seeking a full-time Associate Dentist to lead the patient care experience from initial exam and treatment plan to delivery of care. In-office services include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

The Dentist will uphold the highest standards of care and ethics while educating patients on options and maintaining comprehensive records. A sign-on bonus up to $20,000 is available and ongoing CE opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Update and maintain patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain highest standard of care and professional ethics.
• Stay current with new developments and continuing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree
