Job summary

42North Dental in Hartford is seeking a full-time Associate Dentist to guide the complete clinical patient experience—from exam and treatment planning to delivery of care. In-office services include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery and orthodontics.

The practice welcomes new patients and operates 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with a daily guarantee or up to 36% of collections. We offer health and dental benefits, vision, 401K with guidance, LifeMart discounts, CE opportunities, and sign-on bonuses.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures in the oral cavity.
• Maintain high standards of ethics and professionalism.
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education.
