Job summary

42 North Dental in New Bedford, MA invites a Dentist to join our established practice with a strong flow of new patients each month. You will oversee the full clinical patient experience from initial exam and treatment plan to delivering care, including in-office specialty services such as periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases and create treatment plans.
• Educate patients on oral health and options.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth and supporting structures.
• Review/update patient medical and dental records.
• Interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Maintain high standards of care and ethics.
• Stay updated with new developments and continuing education.

Education
