Job summary

42 North Dental in the Boston area is seeking a Dentist to lead the clinical patient experience from initial exam and treatment planning to delivery of care, with in-office services across periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics. You will join a practice that welcomes a strong flow of new patients each month.

The Dentist is responsible for diagnosing, educating patients on options, creating and reviewing treatment plans, and maintaining records, while upholding the highest

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Vaccination for Hepatitis B.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and maintain patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone, and soft tissues.
• Maintain the highest standard of care and ethics.
• Keep abreast of new developments through CE and professional development.
