Job summary

42 North Dental in Enfield, CT is looking for a Full-Time General Dentist. You will manage the entire patient experience from initial exam to treatment, with in-office services including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics. Earn up to 36% of collections and enjoy a sign-on bonus up to $20,000.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and maintain patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high standards of care and ethics.
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree (ADA CODA-accredited)

Current state license to practice dentistry

Hepatitis B vaccination documentation

Malpractice insurance

BLS/CPR certification
