Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a Full-Time General Dentist in Enfield, CT. The role covers the full clinical patient experience from exam to treatment, with in-office services including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery and orthodontics.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from a ADA CODA-accredited program
• Current state license to practice dentistry
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination
• Proof of malpractice insurance
• Current BLS or CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health
• Review and maintain patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures in the oral cavity
• Maintain high standards of care, ethics and professionalism
• Stay updated on new developments through continuing education
