Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a Dentist to join Gentle Dental Rochester in Rochester, NH. You will lead the entire clinical patient experience—from initial exam and treatment planning to delivery of care—with in-office specialty support to ensure comprehensive outcomes.

The role emphasizes diagnosing, educating patients, creating and reviewing treatment plans, maintaining records, and staying current with evolving standards through continuing education and professional development.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone, and soft tissues.
• Maintain highest quality and ethics in care.
• Stay updated on new developments and standards through ongoing education.
