Job summary

Gentle Dental Rochester in Rochester, NH is seeking a Dentist to lead the patient experience from exam to delivery of care. In-office specialties include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery and orthodontics, with collaboration to support delivery of exceptional care.

The role requires a DMD or DDS, active state license, Hepatitis B vaccination, malpractice insurance, and BLS/CPR certification. Attractive compensation with strong upside and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patients' oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain, and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone, and soft tissues.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism.
• Keep abreast of new developments through continuing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree

Current state license to practice dentistry

Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
