Job summary

42North Dental in Standish, MI is seeking a DDS/DMD to lead the full patient care experience from initial exam through delivery of care. In-office specialties include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

The Dentist will diagnose and treat patients, develop and review treatment plans, maintain records, and ensure high standards of care with ongoing professional development and collaboration within a Doctors network.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism.
• Keep abreast of new developments through continuing education.
